In-Home Euthanasia
In-Home Euthanasia
Service Description
This is an hour visit. We travel throughout Connecticut for In-Home Pet Euthanasia services. Euthanasia should be peaceful. Honoring the life of your pet and the relationship you had together. Intimate. Private. Not on a stainless-steel table with paging overhead. It should be where your pet feels safe and most at peace. On his or her bed. Near the fireplace or on the deck on a sunny day with all his favorite humans and the foods he wasn’t allowed to eat. Music and candles. In your arms or by your side. There are two steps to this process. A sedative is administered first to ensure that your pet has no anxiety or pain. This may take several minutes. After your pet is sedated, the euthanasia medication is administered next. The fee includes transporting your pet to the crematorium. Pet’s over 40lbs will need additional assistance to carry to the car as I have physical restrictions. If you are unable to carry your pet to the car, please let me know. I will make arrangements for assistance. We will confirm your appointment once we have all necessary information and travel time is allocated.
