End-of-Life Consultation Visit
Service Description
This is a 45-minute consultation for you and your pet. We are here to help you with one of the toughest decisions. Should your pet require euthanasia, we provide this service throughout Connecticut so you don’t have to make it alone. This is what will take place during the appointment: - Review of medical history - Physical Exam - Pain Assessment - Evaluate your pet’s mental state and environment - Recommendations on enrichment and any modifications to your home - Review quality of life scales - Educate you on your pet’s disease and what to expect - How to prepare for an emergency or if your pet is actively dying - Medications may be adjusted, and new ones may be prescribed - Discuss your concerns and worries for your pet and your goals for their end-of-life care - Provide grief support for you and your family members (fur & no-fur children)
Cancellation Policy
To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance so the appointment time may be used for another patient. Cancellations received at least 24 hours in advance will receive a full and prompt refund. Cancellations that occur within the 24 hour window of Dr. Magnotta's scheduled appointment are subject to a non-refundable $75 travel and inconvenience fee.
