SAYING GOODBYE TO YOUR PET - EUTHANASIA
Co-Pilot Mobile Veterinary Care offers compassionate in-home euthanasia to ensure pets have a
peaceful passing in the comfort of their home.

Here's an overview of our process:
-
Initial Contact: Pet owners contact Co-Pilot to schedule a euthanasia appointment, discussing their pet's condition and needs.
-
Arrival and Preparation: Dr. Magnotta arrives at a prearranged time, suggesting a quiet, comfortable area for your loved one's procedure.
-
Examination: She will conduct a thorough examination and discuss the events that have led to your decision for euthanasia, helping you understand that you’re made the correct decision.
-
Sedation: A sedative is first administered to calm the pet, ensuring they feel no anxiety or pain. This can be done while in your arms, or their favorite blanket and bed.
-
Euthanasia: Once your pet is peacefully sedated, the final injection, typically an overdose of an
-
anesthetic, is given. This step is quick and humane, causing your pet to pass without distress.
-
Aftercare: Owners are given time to say their last goodbyes.
-
Support: Emotional support and guidance on grieving and memorial options are provided. This service focuses on minimizing stress for both your beloved pet and the family, emphasizing dignity and love in the final moments.
Co-Pilot can arrange for cremation or help with other aftercare choices.
